Our team of receptionists...
We have experienced receptionists on duty to take your calls and help you see a veterinary consultant quickly.
Our medical staff all are fully qualified and have a high level of expertise in caring for domestic species, with over 30 years experience of small-animal nursing between them. Reception is run by a team of two full-time and two part-time members. As a first point of contact they are able to offer advice on when an appointment with a vet is needed, as well as being able to answer many day-to-day questions regarding routine healthcare.
Carol Spooner has been with us since 2001. She is our other part-time receptionist. She has worked as a veterinary receptionist for over 20 years in several previous practices as well as working at the RSPCA.
Laura Tarrant is the youngest member of our team and one of our full-time receptionists. She joined the practice in September 2007 after completing her A-levels at Tring School. Laura has been coming to the practice for many years with her two dogs, and also has three horses to keep her busy outside of work hours!
Francesca Chignell joined Springwell as a part-time receptionist in August 2010 after a career in book publishing spanning thirty years. She was already well known to us as she has been a client since 1989. She lives in Aldbury with her husband, Bengal and Burmese cats, Naughty George, a Labrador Retriever and the latest addition to the family, Baby James, a Cats Protection rescue kitten.
