KennelsHospitalised animals can be housed in one of our two kennel rooms. This facility allows sick animals needing peace and quiet to be housed away from more excitable animals, speeding the rate of their recovery and making their stay more relaxed.

Infectious cases can also be isolated from the other animals, helping to ensure that your pet does not pick up infection from other people's animals during it's stay with us. We try our very best to offer a cosy comfortable environment for your pet during its recovery.

Our experienced nursing team are able to offer a wide range of services. Clinics offered include nail clipping, worming and flea prevention, weight monitoring, re-bandaging, routine healthcare advice, dietary advice, stitch removal, administering medication when help is needed.

We have two dedicated operating theatres for carrying out surgery. Heat mats and deep bedding are used to keep animals warm during procedures, and appropriate levels of pain relief are administered where necessary. We routinely offer pre-anaesthetic blood screens to check the health of the liver and kidneys in older patients requiring a general anaesthetic. By doing so we can identify higher risk patients and put measures in place to make their anaesthetic as safe as possible. Most areas of surgery are offered including soft-tissue, orthopaedic and dental surgery.

Equipped to serve!

Digital X-rayOur diagnostic tools include digital X-rays, ultrasound, endoscopes, ECG heart testing and blood pressure monitoring. Our in-house lab offers same day results on a wide range of blood tests as well as allowing us to carry out urine testing and basic microscopy.

This means that your pet's illness can be diagnosed and treated rapidly, giving them the best possible chance of a fast and full recovery.
