Out of hours service

We understand that your pet’s health problems don’t always occur during normal surgery hours. Because of this we have ensured that the out of hours service we offer is both clinically excellent and convenient, so there is one less thing to worry about in an emergency.

Vets Now are a dedicated veterinary emergency service. As such they employ a team of night vets and nurses who are able to provide round the clock care for your pet, should an emergency arise. Before such services came along many ill pets were not monitored constantly throughout the night as the vets in charge of them were also working the day shifts. With the advent of night services there has been a great leap forward in patient care. All the vets at Vets Now have a high level of training and experience in emergency and critical care- just what you need to put your mind at rest in a crisis.

Vets Now is based in Hemel Hempstead, easily accessible from the A41. We have also ensured that accessing the service is as simple as possible. All you need to do is ring our normal surgery number, outside of normal opening hours, on: 01442 822 151. An answer phone will then give you the contact details for Vets Now so that you can speak to a vet for advice, whatever the time.
